Testing of corrugated packaging and their components
Corrugated board packaging must fulfill various requirements in order to proof its capability to protect transported goods optimally – in the laboratory as well as in practice. The packaging shows its limits of resilience in shock, crush and stacking tests, which is of great use for producers, users and consumers.
Standard procedures such as edge crush resistance, burst strength and puncture resistance allow, for instance, to carry out classifications according to DIN 55 468 or RAL quality regulations (RAL-GZ 492). In our laboratories we can further perform tests within the scope of paper, corrugated board and package specification.
